Build Your Own Home Putting Green! Guide Part 1(a): Putting Green Materials (Borders)

We wanted our putting green on a flat area (which I highly recommend to you) and this limited the choices we had. To guard against water coming on to the putting green, we built a small retaining wall…

Retaining Wall around Putting Green

It was important for the retaining wall blocks to complement the brick of our house, especially because the putting green would be so close to the house.

Retaining wall blocks probably were not what you expected to see on this part on putting green materials, but I included them here because you want to make sure you have all materials on-site and ready to go…even the cosmetic materials.
So, if you plan to use retaining wall blocks, pavers, boulders or some other type of stone…make sure that you check those off your list along with all the rest of the putting green materials that we will discuss.

Let’s get to the rest of the putting green materials list in Build Your Own Home Putting Green! Guide Part 1(b).
