Does an artificial putting green look like a "real" grass putting green?

Backyard Putting Green

Sure looks good to me!

Hey, nothing will take the place of a well maintained (by full-time professional greenskeepers) grass putting green...but, remember...you want to putt with your friends and family and ENJOY your putting green!

Maintaining a real grass green will bring you WORK and big expenses for maintenance...not carefree, work free fun...

If you are like me, the last thing you want to do everyday is actually "work" on something you are investing hard earned money into for pure enjoyment.

Do yourself and family a favor...wipe away any negative thoughts you have about anything "fake" and go with a well made artficial putting green.

Of course, I wouldn't recommend anything to you that I don't believe in myself. I have an artificial putting green in my backyard. It looks great and requires very little maintenance.

Take a look at our online Buyer's Guide for professional installers and artificial turf companies that can help you with your artificial putting green.

Good news! You have CHOICES when you go with an artificial putting green...polypropylene or nylon putting greens.

Either of these will be a solid choice, but you must put some thought into each type of synthetic turf.

Why?

Because each will give you different characteristics and different shots you can play into the putting green. The debate between some manufacturers is pretty intense about which type is best.
